Why a blog?
This blog is created on pure impulse, and my intention is to share my highly subjective thoughts on the big and small things in music production and sound design. My posts will come at irregular intervals. Do not hold your breath.

Subtractive and FM synthesis.
This afternoon I'll be packing my equipment and leave the city for a music making weekend in solitude at the family hut in the mountains. There will be plenty of time to follow my big interest at the moment: subtractive and FM synthesis. You're not impressed? Of course not. Subtractive and FM synthesis wasn't invented yesterday and everyone who has ever laid his hands on a synthesizer are acquainted with the terms. 

Obsession
Because I'm a bit tired of big sample libraries at the moment I have developed an obsession (one of many) for creating most of the sounds used in my compositions using common analog synthesis methods. Moreover, instead of spending endless hours browsing for inspiring factory patches in my virtual synths I find it a lot more interesting creating my own from scratch.

More of that and everything else later. Now I have a blog.
